Terms of Service

1. About the service

KAIOS BUILD is an invite-only online community and set of tools for builders, operated by Kartikeya Mishra in India (“KAIOS”, “we”). Public pages and free tools are available to everyone. Member features require an approved account and an active membership.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract.
• An invitation lets you create an account; it does not guarantee membership or any outcome.
• Keep your sign-in secure. You're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
• Provide accurate information. Don't impersonate anyone or create multiple accounts.

3. Membership and payment

• Membership is a prepaid pass for a fixed number of days, at the price shown at checkout (inclusive of applicable taxes). Payments are processed by Razorpay under its terms.
• Membership activates only after we verify your payment. Passes do not renew automatically.
• Renewing before your pass ends adds days to the current end date.
• We may change prices for future purchases with notice; changes never affect a pass you've already paid for.
• Refunds are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

4. Your content

You own what you create and post — projects, profiles, feedback and files. You grant KAIOS a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and process that content only as needed to operate the service, and, for content you make public, to display it on public pages and in KAIOS promotion of the showcase. You can withdraw this by making content private or deleting it. You confirm you have the right to share what you post.

Feedback you give to other members is offered freely; they may use it to improve their projects.

5. Acceptable use

Follow the Community Guidelines. In particular, don't: harass anyone; post unlawful, deceptive or infringing content; spam or sell to members without consent; scrape the service; probe or attack our systems; misuse AI features to generate harmful content; or try to get around rate limits, quotas or access controls.

6. AI features

Kai and other AI features generate drafts that may be inaccurate or incomplete. Review AI output before relying on it. AI usage is subject to monthly limits shown in your dashboard. Don't submit other people's personal data to AI features without a lawful basis.

7. Build Arena

Challenges are governed by the Challenge Rules and any specific rules published for each challenge.

8. Suspension and termination

You can stop using KAIOS and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or the guidelines, or to protect members or the service. Where reasonable, we'll explain why and give you a chance to respond. If we terminate your membership without cause, we'll refund the unused portion of your pass.

9. No guarantees

We work hard to make KAIOS useful, but we don't guarantee any particular outcome — collaborators, feedback, funding, revenue, employment or success. The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. Other members are independent; we don't verify every claim they make.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, KAIOS is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your rights as a consumer.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first — most issues can be resolved quickly. Subject to consumer-protection law, courts at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh have jurisdiction.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here and notify members of material changes in advance. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept them.
